Hotel for Classic LeMans?

I mentioned Classic Lemans to my 75+ father and he said he would really like to go. I'm trying to find a hotel and not having much luck. Another American, Ross Robbins, suggested I check with Geoff Cole on possible hotels. Geoff, or anyone for that matter, any ideas? Or do I need to start preparing for the 2012 event. We'd be flying into De Gaulle and taking the TGV to Lemans. Thanks. Dan Collins ('70 Lotus Elan S4)

Hi Dan, the Nyloc gang all stay around St Leonard du Bois, a village north of Le Mans. (approx 45 mins drive to the track). Presumably you'll want to stay nearer the track if you're travelling to Le Mans by train?
I'm not sure if Geoff will know of anywhere near the track but I'll give him a call tonight and no doubt he'll reply if he can help.
There is a place called the Touring Hotel in St Leonards if that's any help.

I have had to cancel my plans for Classic Le Mans but had a room booked tha had a double and single bed. Doug will be able to confirm if this is still available (I'll PM his number to you).

I also have a grandstand ticket and gen admission ticket I need to sell.

Hi Dan,Geoff here. I can make some enquiries re Hotels near to the circuit but I suspect most will be fully booked by now.

If you are able to get into the hotel where Doug is staying, I am sure we will be able to arrange transport to the circuit for you and your father. There will be several spare 'nyloc' passenger seats available each day and we could pick you up on our way to the circuit from St Leonards.

Ross and Ann came over in 2008 and thoroughly enjoyed the event in the company of the NYLOC Lotus nuts,it would be good to see you if you can manage to make it over.
